IN BRITAIN'S TOP TEN FINE DINING ROOMS

In an article published in The Knowledge supplement of The Times, The Crown at Whitebrook has been recognised as one of the Top Ten fine dining rooms in Britain. This new accolade reinforces The Crown's credibility as Wales' top restaurant and a leading culinary destination in Britain. The Crown was picked alongside the likes of The Vineyard (two Michelin Stars), Le Champignon Sauvage (two Michelin Stars), The Fat Duck - best restaurant world wide for 2006, Le Gavroche and Restaurant Sat Bains - Square Meals restaurant of the year for 2007.
The Crown is absolutely delighted to receive this accolade and to be considered amongst the top in the UK. Once again Head Chef James Sommerin has triumphed and the whole team is over the moon!

Wonderful food is served here by Michelin-starred James Sommerin. The prix-fixe menu is a showcase for local produce and culinary techniques. Braised pork belly and scallops are an excellent combination of smoky farmyard flavours and sea-fresh sweetness. |
