The Crown's Wine List Wins Again!
The Crown has received further recognition for its ever developing wine list in the form of a certificate from the AA as a "Notable Wine List" for 2007/2008.
Alex Pastrav, The Crown's sommelier was very pleased. He said "A lot of hard work has gone into developing and refining the wine list over the last few years.
My predecessors started the ball rolling and I am proud to be able to add to this and continue the tradition. The wine list is a living breathing entity which is forever changing and we are always looking for opportunities to improve on it. Recently we have added a Dom Perignon and Moet en Chanson page in collaboration with Moet Hennessy and we are now offering Moet Vintage and Dom Perignon by the glass. We have also been putting a lot of time and money into developing our "Director's Cellar" - a collection of classic and finer wines."
