THE
CROWN AT WHITEBROOK WINS FIVE STARS
Thursday, 23rd November 2006
The Crown at Whitebrook has been awarded five stars
by the Wales Tourist Board in an inspection last
week. The original restaurant with rooms is one
of only a few in Wales to be awarded this accolade.
The Crown at Whitebrook is set in tranquil surroundings
in the heart of the breathtaking Wye Valley. This
five-star hideaway is welcoming, smart and modern,
with eight individually styled, luxury bedrooms
with views of the surrounding woodland. The award
winning restaurant serves a fine modern British
menu using fresh local ingredients, complemented
by an impressive and comprehensive wine cellar.
Michael Obray, General Manager at The Crown at Whitebrook
said: “We are immensely proud to have been awarded
five stars. This prestigious accolade is a tribute
to the efforts of Head Chef James Sommerin
and his highly skilled brigade, working seamlessly
with front of house. I can say with confidence that
the whole team is very proud to be a part of what
The Crown is trying to achieve. We can only go from
strength to strength.” |
