ASSAM BLEND
(Our equivalent to a traditional English blend) Assam is the world’s largest tea growing region. This is where Assam bush, Camellia sinensis assamica, were discovered in 1823. Assam tea is low grown
and holds a reputation as the strongest, full-bodied tea to be found. Jing Assam has a deep amber infusion, with great richness and a malty, full bodied flavour.

EARL GREY SUPREME
Named after the 1830’s Prime Minister, Earl Grey is the Western World’s most popular scented black tea. Most Earl Grey teas are made with the lowest grade black tea. This tea is made with a rich, whole leaf Ceylon and sprinkled with cornflowers (merely for decoration and adds nothing to flavour) and scented with
bergamot.
Pot per person – £3.00

WHITE PEONY (WHITE TEA)
White Peony is more full bodied. Fresh and mellow with hints of melon. It is composed of tea buds and two lower leaves. Picked and processed in Fuding, Fujian Province, China. Natural, slow drying in open air makes the tea soothing and gentle. High in antioxidants and extremely low in caffeine.
Pot per person – £3.95

DRAGON WELL/LONG JING (GREEN TEA)
One of the most sought after green teas in the world. The leaves are picked at the beginning of spring, before a traditional festival called Qing Ming. The early or first picking in April means the leaves have all winter to grow, allowing them to slowly absorb the nutrients from the soil and develop a great depth of flavour. After picking, each individual leaf and bud is hand-pressed and shaped in a wok to achieve the perfect level of roasting. This process creates a tea with an emerald infusion that tastes of sweet chestnuts.
Pot per person – £4.50

LEMON VERBENA TISANE
This tea has distinctive refreshing properties. It has an unusually pure, fruity lemon note and a clean taste, which is more intense than other lemon scented herbs.
Pot per person – £3.00

WHOLE CHAMOMILE FLOWERS
This is an old favourite and known for its calming effect. This is a soothing tea with notes of fig and honey and ideal for those sensitive to caffeine.
Pot per person – £3.00
